Each BARA chopping block is handmade in our workshop in Saint-Briac , from French oak sourced from sustainably managed forests .
End grain wood, used by chefs for its strength and longevity, preserves the blades and offers a stable and durable cutting surface.
Each handcrafted chopping block is unique, carefully shaped according to the wood grain.

Interview

To preserve the beauty of the oak and the longevity of your chopping block, maintain it regularly with a natural food-grade oil or balm .
Apply a thin layer to all surfaces, about once a month, using a soft cloth.
Avoid dishwashers, prolonged immersion, and direct heat sources.
