Louarn, the clever and stable board.
With its large size and its rim that fits against the work surface, it offers ideal comfort of use, even during the most intensive cutting.
🌳 Solid wood & elegant variations:
Handcrafted in Saint-Briac, Louarn is available in solid oak, complemented by a central strip in maple (light), walnut (dark), or pear (orange). Three woods, three atmospheres, to suit your kitchen and your style.
📐 Dimensions:
56 cm x 43 cm x 2.5 cm – A very large work surface, perfectly stable and comfortable.
Weight: approximately 4.5 kg
🖐️ Getting started:
Thanks to its discreet rim at the back, Louarn naturally rests against the work surface: it no longer moves, you work with confidence.
✨ Design:
Clean lines, a contrasting blade, and that little detail that changes everything. It occupies the space perfectly.
💡 Usage:
Whether you are cutting large pieces of meat, large quantities of vegetables, or are simply looking for a stable and spacious board for everyday use: Louarn is made for that.

🧴 Caring for your cutting board:
To maintain the quality of your board, oil it once a month with a few drops of cooking oil or our 100% natural maintenance balm. Apply the oil or balm evenly with a cloth until fully absorbed by the wood, making sure to treat all surfaces.
To preserve durability, avoid using your board as a trivet and do not leave it soaking in the sink, as this could weaken the joints.
🪵 A unique piece, like the wood from which it is made
Each plank I make is unique: the grain, the colors, and the subtle variations in the wood tell its story. These details are not flaws, but marks of character that I choose to preserve for their beauty. They in no way compromise the plank's strength; quite the opposite. By choosing a PLANC'H plank, you are acquiring an authentic object, crafted with care, respect, and exacting standards.
